The Custom Home Building Process
The process of building a custom home begins with a solid foundation of trust. Our team will manage the entire process from design and estimation to completing the build, including getting all the required permits and organizing all professionals. Our general manager will work closely with you from the beginning stages and then you’ll be assigned a project manager.
It all starts with finding the perfect piece of land. If you’ve already got one, you’re steps ahead. If not, we are happy to work with you to pick the property that suits your dream home.
The pre-design stage is your opportunity to present all of your ideas. Our General Manager and designer will sit down with you to make sure everyone is on the same page about what you want.
With the help of a professional designer, the plans for your new home will take material form. We work with professional designers so would match you with one to suit your project, or we’ll be happy to work with a designer you’ve already hired. From there, we’ll provide a detailed estimate for your project including labour costs and materials. We believe in being 100% solid on design and budget before anything else so there are no surprises for you down the road.
When you’re ready to say yes to your dream home, we’ll set you up with the BuildBook software which allows us to feed you detailed updates and photos on our progress, so you are kept in the loop the whole way through the project. As well as get notifications on when selections and important decisions need to be made.
